About Interim HealthCare
Founded in 1966, Interim HealthCare is the nation's oldest proprietary national organization providing health care personnel at all skill levels in all settings. There are more than 300 independently owned franchise locations nationwide. Interim's independent franchisees employ more than 75,000 health care workers and provide nurses, therapists, aides and other health care personnel to approximately 50,000 people each day.
The Interim family of brands includes:
Home Health Care, Personal Care and Support Services, Healthcare Staffing
The Interim HealthCare brand encompasses home care and health care staffing services. Home Care is a diverse and dynamic industry. Services in the home may be necessary due to acute illness, long term health conditions, permanent disabilities, terminal illness or the impact of aging. Home health care personnel include nurses, therapists and other specialized professionals who provide clinical intervention such as wound care, assistance with medication, improved ability to walk, or teaching individuals and their families' self-management of their condition while remaining at home. Personal care and support services are non-medical and include companionship, homemaking and assistance with activities of daily living such as grooming and bathing. These services are usually provided by personal care assistants as well as companions and homemakers. Healthcare staffing can include providing temporary staff to facilities or companies through a contractual agreement.
Personal Care - Support Services
Some of the Interim HealthCare franchise offices provide personal care and support services under the Interim HomeStyle Services brand name.

The challenges of health care staffing have become much more complex. There is a growing need for qualified supplemental health care staff and employees are looking for more flexibility with their careers. Interim HealthCare Staffing meets these changes everyday.
